  • DFC Carries The Queens Baton





    DFC Carries the Queens Message Ahead of this summer’s Commonwealth games in Glasgow.  Northern Ireland will play host to the Queen’s Baton Relay as it continues its global journey whilst handing over the two Kia Sportages to the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Council  Uel Butler Chief Executive of DFC met with Dame Mary Peters, First Minister  Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness at Stormont Parliament Buildings.  They were delighted to learn  that a local Vehicle Management company had provided free support vehicles for the Northern Ireland leg of this event. 


    Uel commented “The Giro Italia demonstrated the positive role sport has to play in our society, it was a great coup for Northern Ireland.  As the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Council prepares to compete in Glasgow we at DFC are delighted to play our role in supporting large scale events that help keep alive the great feel good factor that many of us have experienced in the recent weeks  ”
